About Dr. Hernon

I completed a three-year surgical residency in podiatric medicine and surgery, where I received comprehensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. While my current practice focuses on non-operative foot and ankle care, my surgical training has given me a strong foundation in developing comprehensive treatment plans and understanding the full spectrum of treatment options available to my patients.

My passion for sports medicine began long before my medical training. I played varsity basketball and volleyball throughout high school and continued playing both recreationally during my undergraduate and podiatric medical school years. Those experiences gave me a firsthand appreciation for the importance of staying active and the impact that foot and ankle injuries can have on quality of life. Today, I enjoy helping athletes and active individuals recover from injury, improve performance, and return to the activities they love.

I believe every patient deserves an individualized, evidence-based treatment plan that aligns with their goals and lifestyle. Whether you’re a competitive athlete, weekend warrior, or simply looking to stay active, my goal is to help you move comfortably and confidently.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy strength training, running, and studying the financial markets as an active day trader. Both medicine and trading require discipline, preparation, continuous learning, and thoughtful decision-making qualities that I strive to bring into every patient interaction.
